The chief influences on my life and who I am as a designer are my surroundings. Moving from a tiny town on the water and adjusting to a colossal concrete city came with numerous difficulties, however it has truly made me a stronger individual. Where I’m from and where I live now have shaped me in so many ways and have influenced me in becoming the multifaceted designer that I am today.

In my logo, the fluidity of the font depicted in my first name, Giuliana, symbolizes where I’m from and how that has shaped me. It is meant to resemble the soft curves of waves curling onto the shore, because the beach is first thing that comes to mind when I think about my nautical hometown nestled between the Sound and the Bay. That small community where everybody knows everybody taught me to always be kind to all, to appreciate the little things, and to have a colorful outlook on life. These attributes are revealed through my designs in the way that I put forth all of my effort into every project, I pay extremely close attention to detail, and I create vibrant and inspiring works.

In my last name, Buono, the square like letters in my logo symbolize where I am currently and how that has shaped who I am today. It is meant to resemble the bold lines and geometric structures of New York City buildings. This busy city where everybody is on a mission has taught me to be always be aware of my surroundings, to be punctual, and to be adaptable. These attributes are seen in my designs in the way that I am aware and well educated about what I’m designing, I am able to complete projects at or before their deadlines, and if the initial plan isn't possible, I am able to come up with a new strategy without hesitation.
